Os nomeados para a 72ª edição anual dos Golden Globe Awards foram conhecidos há poucas horas. Fargo domina com um total de 5 nomeações, incluindo a de Melhor Mini-série. True Detective conseguiu 4 nomeações, e houve seis séries a conseguir nomeações em 3 categorias.

A cerimónia que vai dar a conhecer os vencedores e entregar-lhes os prémios irá ocorrer no dia 11 de Janeiro de 2015, sendo transmitida pelo canal americano NBC, e terá como apresentadoras as actrizes Tina Fey e Amy Poehler pelo terceiro ano consecutivo.
